The 2024 BAIV Normandy experience is including:

  • Next to the entire atmosphere, unique location and program the following is included:

    • 11 days event: Arrival at campsite Dog Green Camp Thursday May 30th 2024
      (D-Day-7)      ;
      Departure Sunday June 9th (D-Day+3); Campsite closes at 11:00 am.
    • Accommodation: Unique campsite on historic ground at walking distance from Omaha Beach in WW2 military style: Including modern facilities
      as electricity, showers, toilets Wi-Fi etc.;
      Lodging in historic military tents with a field bed, pillow and military sleeping bag and chair and light and power source (220/240 Volt);
      Large mess tent for joint breakfast and relaxation in the evenings.
    • Tour organization: Team BAIV: 24/7 available during event. Daily support and comradeship of our entire crew included.
    • Meals: All breakfasts, lunches and dinners included prepared by a professional crew under supervision of Sergeant Major and Master Chief Dave Kloosterman in authentic military field kitchen;

    Drinks during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    • Tours & events Seven historical guided day tours and full-time logistical escort including all entrance fees to museums and attractions visited.
      Touring in historic military vehicles and armored cars;
      Itinerary designed by our historians;
      Educational booklets with historical information and stories for all day tours;
      Daily briefings on next day’s program and historical background;
      Farewell party on the last evening;
      2 T-shirts BAIV 2024 D-Day Normandy Experience.
    • Optional Lodging in Officers Tent (US Small Wall) against additional surcharge (price-quote available by end of January 2024);
    • Not included Transport to/from Normandy, France and your personal purchases and expenses.

Bookings:

Price
The price of the entire program as listed is Euro 2.642,- p.p.

 

Children, accompanied by an adult, up to and the age of 12  will have a 15% discount.

 

Note: Our objective is not profit-driven, but rather to cover the expenses involved. We believe it is vital to contribute to this significant commemoration out of gratitude for all the sacrifices that have been and are being made for our freedom.

 

Payment terms

  • Within 10 days after application, you receive a written confirmation including all details,
  • 30%: 30 days after booking confirmation,
  • 40%: 4 months prior to the event (January 30th, 2024),
  • Remaining 30%: 6 weeks prior to the event starting date being April 15th , 2024.

For bookings after February 2024

  • 70%: 30 days after booking conformation
  • 30%: 6 weeks prior to the event starting date.

 

Payments

Payments can be transferred by PayPal (preferred) facturen@baiv.nl or when required per Bank Transfer. Details will be in the invoice.

 

Cancelation

Cancelation within the timeframe of 21 days after issuing the application is free of cost. In case of cancelation after this period see BAIV’s standard terms and conditions for event participation.

Notes: 

Airline tickets

If you purchase your airline ticket from overseas, please know that Day 1 is the day that you fly, Day 2 is the day you arrive in Europe (May 30th 2024).
Might be same for your departure from the Campsite to Paris Charles de Gaulle depending on time zones and your destination.

Shuttle bus facilities from Paris Charles de Gaulle to the Campsite and / or vice versa:

We arrange shuttle bus facilities from Paris Charles de Gaulle to the Campsite (254 km) on Thursday May 30th and vice versa on Sunday June 9th at costs.
If you want us to arrange a transfer from the airport to and from the Campsite please contact us before you purchase your airline tickets to confirm the recommended time of arrival and departure.

 

Price for transfer from Paris Charles de Gaulle to the Campsite (v.v.) will be based on actual costs 2 months prior to the event.

 

If you prefer to arrange your own transport almost all car rental companies are represented at the Airport.
